Origin Capital Partners was established in 2020 and has successfully raised two Funds focused exclusively on the New Zealand kiwifruit sector — Origin Capital Fund 1 and Origin Capital Fund 2. Together, these funds invest in high-quality kiwifruit assets and have a combined asset base of approximately $240 million, comprising 17 SunGold orchards, both in production and under development, and 3.5 million Zespri shares, on behalf of 260 investors.
Origin’s founders — Dominic Jones, Lain Jager, Craig Greenlees and Paul Jones — and their families have been deeply involved in the kiwifruit sector for decades and they, and the wider Origin team, hold leadership roles across the value chain.

Origin Capital Kiwifruit Fund 3 now open to wholesale investors
Origin Capital Partners is now raising its third kiwifruit fund — Origin Capital Kiwifruit Fund 3 — building on the scale, capability, and track record established across its earlier funds. As with Funds 1 and 2, Origin Capital Kiwifruit Fund 3 will provide an entry point for investment into a strong and sustainable sector. The fund aims to give investors access to attractive cash-flow yields from land backed assets managed by the experienced and connected Origin Capital Partners team.
